This article defines how DocuWare Enterprise is used at the University of Arizona.
DocuWare Moratorium
DocuWare is no longer available for new units. UITS will continue to support DocuWare for those units that currently use the application, however, we are no longer onboarding new organizations or building new cabinets.

DocuWare Enterprise is a secure document management system supported by Admin Technologies.
University of Arizona campus units can use DocuWare to electronically store, manage and retrieve documents.
Existing units have an assigned Department Liaison for DocuWare who will act as the point of contact and approver for departmental changes.
DocuWare adheres to the Information Security Office's best practices for system security. It may be used for University Information classified as either Public or Internal. Restricted Information is prohibited unless explicitly approved for use in DocuWare by the proper Compliance Partner.
DocuWare Administrators and support teams make reasonable efforts to make DocuWare available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during System Maintenance Windows and Scheduled System Upgrades.
Hours: Sunday 06:00 am to 06:00 pm
During this time, monthly Windows patches and necessary hotfixes are applied. Best efforts will be made to limit maintenance to this timeframe but cannot be guaranteed.
DocuWare Administrators will notify Department Liaisons of maintenance via docuware_users@list.arizona.edu at least 24 hours in advance. Department Liaisons are responsible for communicating with their respective department users.
