This article describes how to manage devices in the MyDevices Portal.
Use this portal to add, delete, or edit devices that can't connect to UAWiFi or a wired (Ethernet) network.
Devices that must be registered here to access the internet via UAGuest include gaming consoles (like Xbox) and smart TVs, as they are not supported on UAWiFi or Ethernet. See Campus Dorms - Approved Network Devices for the full approved list.
Some devices, such as smart assistants (Alexa, Google Home) and wireless printers, may have limited functionality on UAWiFi because network discovery is disabled. This means devices on UAWiFi cannot see or discover other devices. Printers can use a USB connection instead of Wi-Fi.
UA faculty, staff, and students can register up to five (5) personal devices. Registration is valid for one semester (180 days), after which the device must be re-registered using the portal.
This content panel provides detailed instructions for registering a device on the University of Arizona's network through the MyDevices portal.
