This article introduces the software called Admin By Request (ABR), which is a security solution for the control and management of local administrative rights on devices (desktops, laptops, etc.).

Those enrolled in an Endpoint Management solution such as Intune or Jamf have the ABR tool installed. This feature temporarily elevates our standard user accounts to administrators. It also provides our Desktop support staff with a way to perform administrative tasks and troubleshoot devices.
