This article addresses how to forward your desk phone to another number if you will be away from your desk and want your calls to reach you. The instructions are different if you have VoIP telephone service versus analog or digital (ISDN). First, you must look at your desk phone and see whether it is made by Cisco.
Some specialty VoIP phones may not be by Cisco. If most of the desk sets in your area are Cisco, then your department likely has all VoIP.
